Sri Dr. H.G. Nagendra<\/strong>, has received his Ph.D. (Biophysics) degree from IISc, Bangalore, and was a postdoctoral fellow (Bioinformatics) at University of Cambridge, England, UK. He is presently working as Professor and Head of Bio-Technology Department at Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology, Bengaluru. He has over 24 years of teaching and Research experience and has co-authored about 55 articles in peer reviewed research journals. He has guided 5 candidates for their Ph.Ds. degrees. He has executed several collaborative projects worth Rs. 1.7 Crores funded by various government agencies like UGC, DST, DBT, ICMR, BIRAC, VTU, KSCST etc. He has been nominated as subject expert of various university bodies, and is a Life Member of many professional bodies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, he has evinced keen intertest in the holy grail of Bharathiya Samskriti, and has been part of several training sessions from exponents in the domains like Shri Shri Rangapriya Swamiji, Dr. C R Ramaswamy, Dr. Narayan Dutta, Dr. Shankaranarayana Jois and others, on the fundamental concepts and facets of our heritage and vedic culture.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
